I am the President of the Croatian Taijiquan Qigong Institute, a Zhi Neng Qigong instructor and a certified Wushu Taijiquan trainer, 3rd Duan, specializing in Chen Taijiquan and with more than 25 years of professional experience. I was educated in Europe, China and Singapore, and mastered in China, and my primary focus is Qigong and Taijiquan as therapeutic methods, as well as Hun Yuan Qi therapy, with which I encourage and support people in achieving their optimal psychophysical health.
In Chen Taijiquan, I am a representative of Grand Master Zhu Tiancai, the official ambassador of Chinese intangible heritage from the 19th generation of Master Chen Taijiquan, and in addition to being a multiple Croatian champion in Taijiquan and a trainer of competitors and national champions, I am also a professional masseur educated in several types of massage, an archery instructor and a music lover.

- David Petrović, multiple Croatian champion in Taijiquan, practiced karate and Wing Tsun in his childhood and youth;
- 2000-Began training Taijiquan Yang style at the Tai Chi Club Pula (Tai Chi Pula);
- From 2002 to the present day, he has been leading trainings and courses for different age and professional groups and is actively involved in the popularization of Taijiquan and Qigong;

- 2013.- two 1st places and two gold medals in Taijiquan and Taijijian and the title of the best competitor in internal martial arts at the 1st International Wushu Kung Fu Championship in Pula;
- 2014. – Croatian Champion, two gold medals (bare-handed and weapons forms) in Taijiquan and Taijijian, at the Croatian Championship;
- 2015. – 2nd Duan at CWA (Chinese Wushu Association);
- 2016-17 Participated in the development of the manual for instructors of the Croatian Wushu Federation;

- Since 2017, he and his wife Helena Petrović have been organizing a three-year school for Taijiquan/Qigong instructors and starting systematic training of instructors;

- In 2019, he was awarded the title of Master and official representative of the Tiancai Taijiquan school of Chenjiagou Taijiquan, the 20th generation of traditional Taijiquan masters and the successor of the great Master Zhu Tiancai from the 19th generation of masters of the original Chen Taijiquan;

- 2024. – the Yuan Tong- Tai Chi Pula association changes its name to the Croatian Taijiquan Qigong Institute, and David Petrović is the president;
Master David Petrović is educated and certified as a bodyworker, Reiki master and quality therapist with many years of experience in several types of massage, especially oriental, Tui Na and Shiatsu treatments. Specialization: Hun Yuan Qi therapy.
He actively teaches and works through online courses, then at the Croatian Taijiquan Qigong Institute in Pula, leads seminars in other cities and retreats in nature organized by our institute or as a guest teacher. Since 2017, he has been the originator and co-creator of Qigong and Taijiquan instructor training courses and a master teacher. He collaborates with associations, businesses and institutions, with the aim of applying these methods to maintain/improve the psychophysical health of practitioners or for team building purposes.
