Qigong is a generic term for conscious energy work, and for starters it could be divided into:
- Qigong in the narrow sense, which refers to several thousand Chinese styles,
- Qigong in the broader sense, which are energy practices around the world.
We research, apply and teach working with Qi in a way that movement and mind are used for a life in health, peace, harmony, joy and abundance.
From several thousand Chinese Qigong styles, we have chosen Zhi Neng Qigong and Health Qigong systems, each consisting of several forms, because of their benefits for the health of the practitioner, and Gaia Qigong is not only our selection of mutually compatible energy methods in the broader sense, but also energy practices that we have co-created based on ancient knowledge, for the new age.
ZHI NENG QIGONG
Zhi Neng Qigong is one of the most widespread and recognized forms of energy healing originating in China.
As a result of the synthesis of traditional Qigong styles, Chinese traditional medicine and modern science, it represents a revolutionary leap in revealing the mysteries of human life. Numerous miraculous cures, truly incredible experimental results and exceptional powers are the reward for those who practice it. Zhi Neng Qigong is suitable for anyone who wants to improve their physical, emotional, mental and spiritual health, for the old and the young, the sick and the healthy. Due to its powerful healing effect that has been scientifically researched and confirmed in the treatment of over 450 serious diseases, it has been recognized and recommended by the Chinese government.
The word Zhi refers to wisdom, ingenuity, virtue. The character Neng is defined as the ability to achieve something. The complete meaning would be: Qigong that develops intellect and wisdom. Therefore, Zhi Neng Qigong is not primarily focused on health, but good health and miraculous healings are some of the many beneficial side effects of this practice
In Zhi Neng Qigong, the central point is the exchange between Hun Yuan Qi (the Qi of the Universe) and the Qi of our body and the creation of a healing field.
The characteristics of Hun Yuan Qi are as follows:
- the ability to surround, contain, and pass through all things, meaning it contains all matter in the universe
- the ability to move through the mind
By using the mind to concentrate Hun Yuan Qi, it can be sent where it is needed. Using this principle, practitioners manage to guide the flow of Hun Yuan Qi to diseased parts of the body and thus stimulate the healing process. Since Hun Yuan Qi is available in unlimited quantities, it is enough to learn a system of exercises to manage it.
Given the simplicity and effectiveness of Zhi Neng Qigong, results are quick and easy to achieve. More than 13 million practitioners worldwide enjoy the benefits of Zhi Neng Qigong.
HEALTH QIGONG
Health Qigong is a system that consists of various styles of traditional Qigong beneficial for health, which were taken over, refined and adapted to modern man by the Chinese Qigong Federation. As a combination of traditional Qigong, sports and traditional Chinese medicine, effective and easy to learn, it is gaining increasing popularity around the world.
It consists of about 10 styles that can be practiced in our institute. The most popular is certainly Ba Duan Jin for improving immunity and general health, but there are also Shi Er Duan Jin, a calming meditative style in a sitting position good for the whole body, but primarily for the heart and circulatory system, Wu Qin Xi Qigong of the five animals, Qigong breathing exercises, etc.
The character Qi, in Chinese, is represented by steam rising above boiling rice; the ancient form represented the sun, fire and steam. The meaning can be breath, steam, air, vital energy, but also food… there are countless definitions that can be given. It actually contains the idea of something whose movement and existence gives life. The sign Gong represents work, cultivation, ability, skill.
Accordingly, Health Qi Gong is “the ability to use vital energy” to live in health.
GAIA QIGONG
Since Qi, Chi, Prana, Orgon, Shakti, Holy Spirit… creates and permeates the entire material universe and spheres beyond physical existence, in the broadest sense Qigong is Life itself. Every conscious inhale-exhale is Qigong.
To understand Qigong, or the style that is practiced and for what purpose, the term Qigong is always defined by the previous terms, e.g. Health Qigong, Baduanjin Qigong, Zhi Neng Qigong, etc.
Gaia Qigong are practices that aim at the health, harmony and well-being not only of the practitioners, their families, the immediate and wider community, but also of all life on Earth.
The mission of Gaia Qigong is to spread healing Qi into being and acting in accordance with the Source and to be a safe bridge:
- between the human species as it is and as it can be when it becomes aware, accepts and applies all its potentials, for a life in peace, health and harmony;
- between the human species and all life in the universe of which we are an integral part.
